Klemick & Gampel Participate in Race for the Cure

Susan G. Komen’s Race for the Cure is an annual breast cancer awareness and fundraising event that is held in the Miami-Dade area every year. The large gathering occurred on October 20^ththis year, and more than 2,100 people arrived near the spot to race for breast cancer research funds. This was the 17^th annual race, which involves a 5K walk and run, a one-mile fun run and a tot run for children. Most of the men and women who arrived at the event were wearing pink in honor of breast cancer awareness.

Vendors lined the streets selling pink T-shirts and other memorabilia for the cause. The event began at 8:30 a.m. on October 30^th after a 25 minute ceremony honoring breast cancer survivors.
